At our February 1, 2022 Civic Club meeting, we will hear from Roman McAllen, Houston Office of Preservation (HOP) Officer. He will explain the designation of Heritage Districts and answer questions.
Come to the meeting with your constructive ideas and opinions. We cannot and will not have an open forum on whether Garden Oaks generally needs sidewalks. We will talk about the issue at hand – the impact of the sidewalk ordinance, whether we as a neighborhood want the Civic Club to continue to advocate for waivers, and the appropriate way to do that. I look forward to a productive discussion.
